The Dance Studio

The Dance Studio

The Dance Studio was initially established by Jacqui Cesan to provide an outlet for her sons. Through dancing her boys were able to be productive, sociable, and confident of their dance skills. It would not be long until friends and the community approached her to also enrol their children in a dance class. With the community’s support and collaborative ideas, she was able to open the dance studio in 1999 at its location at the Dominion Road. Classes were concentrated on tap, boyzdance, and jazz but a growing demand for other genres led to the addition of Latin, ballet, hip hop, and contemporary. Its former location was transferred to Sandringham to allow a convenient space for the growing dance students.
