Henri Mostert was educated at the University of Pretoria in South Africa where he obtained his bachelor of veterinary science degree in 1993. Upon obtaining his qualification he commenced with a government veterinarian post that lasted for a year. The year after he pursued private practice. He has tended to all kinds of animals most especially wildlife during his private practice in Pretoria and stint at Vryheid. In 2016, he relocated to New Zealand and after two years moved to Hamilton where he joined the Hamilton Small Animal Veterinary Centre team.
