The PumpHouse Theatre
The PumpHouse Theatre is a popular performing arts theatre in Takapuna, Auckland. The area used to be a pumping station that supplied water to the North Shore residents. Close to being demolished the residents fought for the area to be converted into a performing arts theatre instead. It is now operated and funded by The North Shore Theatre Arts Trust and functions as a performing arts venue for hire. A wonderful night of events usually happens at the PumpHouse Theatre including comedy, cabaret and creative talks.

Basement Theatre
Basement Theatre is a lovely venue wherein comedians, poets, dancers, musicians and visual artists pratice their areas of expertise. The theatre is located in Auckland, New Zealand and provides a creative mix of artistic events and programs. It is where fresh new concepts and ideas are welcomed and showcased to the viewing public. Q Theatre
Q Theatre hosts a range of events that bring local artists and audiences together. The performing arts theatre operates in Auckland, New Zealand and is owned and managed by a charitable trust. It was constructed to promote the local artistry present in the region and to inspire creative awareness and appreciation. Lotteries Grant Board, Auckland Council, Foundation North and a string of private donors sponsored the construction of Q Theatre. Three exciting events await art lovers this coming March. The Civic
The Civic was constructed in 1929 and is now one of the premier entertainment venues in the region. The Auckland-based performing arts theatre exudes a cinema vibe with its unique ceiling design gracing the auditorium area. Lined with stars and clouds, the ceiling is the perfect depiction of the Southern Hemisphere night sky. The Civic is a category one building with a seating capacity of 2,379. ASB Waterfront Theatre
ASB Waterfront Theatre showcases the best of the film, theatre and dance industry of New Zealand. It is situated in the heart of Wynyard Quarters in Auckland, New Zealand. For 7 years, the Auckland Theatre Company raised funds for the operation of ASB Waterfront Theatre. And in 2016, the performance theatre debuted its first show, Billy Elliot the Musical. Its 675 seats offer an intimate and interactive experience to the audience. This is complemented by a hosting gallery, bar and cafe nearby.
