Piri Hoani – Laneways Tattoo Studio
Piri Hoani is a tattoo artist born and bred in Christchurch, New Zealand. He discovered his passion for art during high school while he was attending his art and graphic design studies. The local tattooist explored Maori wood carving and enrolled at the Te Wananga O Aotearoa in Rotorua. While learning Maori carving, he noticed and eventually developed an interest in Ta Moko or Maori Tattoo.
