Albert Park
Albert Park is a popular park in the Auckland region of New Zealand. It is situated in the central portion of the business district and carries a rich air of history and cultural significance worth visiting. The area used to be a village and was named Rangipuke after the European settlement. After the construction of the Albert Barracks in 1845, the public space was soon renamed, Albert Park. Auckland Domain
Auckland Domain is the oldest public park in Auckland constructed in 1843. The public area in New Zealand that the community enjoys today was the idea of Governor Robert Fitzroy. He allotted 75 hectares of land for the park development. The area is situated around the cone of an extinct volcano and gifted with stunning tuff rings brought by previous volcanic activity. This gives the park a unique contour and landscape. Auckland Domain has a memorial site for the fallen men and women of the country and a lush network of exotic and native trees.

Known by Māori as Tuna Mau (eel trap) for the creek that used to run through it. Key features are an awesome playground at the bottom (Freemans Bay) end; a fitness trail and its role as an off-leash dog exercise area. Western Springs Lakeside Park
Western Springs Lakeside Park is a centrally-located park in the Auckland region of New Zealand. It is perfect for a relaxing walk either around the park or the lake area.
