Trelissick Park

Trelissick Park played an important role in the early days of Māoris and Europeans residing in the area. It was used as a gateway by Harbour inhabitants to the Porirua area. Seton Nossiter Park

Seton Nossiter Park houses the remaining concrete elements of the 1885-built viaduct. The largest timber viaduct at that time was constructed by the Wellington and Manawatu Railway Company. Gone Burger serves the Eastern Hamilton portion of the Waikato region. It is famous for its burgers made from free-range ingredients with options for vegan and vegetarian diners. The NZ-based restaurant started as a mobile food truck in April 2013 frequenting Hamilton on weekdays and Cambridge during weekends. It is now a full-pledge eatery serving organic and fresh ingredients to its loyal patrons. Their vegan menu includes the vege smash, kombucha, organic juice and coffee-based beverages. The vege smash is made up of chickpea and kumara smash pattie topped with beetroot, lettuce, tomato, and tomato chilli jam.

Winner Winner Hamilton East is the result of a group of foodie friends’ passion for fast, healthy, and fresh meal options. It is where Kiwis can enjoy their favourite meal any time of the day minus the worries about artificial ingredients and preservatives. Though the restaurant serves meat-based dishes, they can also cater to the vegan and vegetarian diet. They have crafted a special menu for vegans namely the “the vegan” and the vegan chicken sandwich. The vegan dish has slaw, tobacco onions, and bbq pulled jackfruit topped with vegan mayo while the vegan chicken sandwich has soy buttermilk fried chicken layered with iceberg lettuce, vegan cheese and sauce.

Gothenburg Restaurant

Gothenburg Restaurant specializes in tapas, alcoholic beverages, non-alcoholic drinks, and sweet treats. The eatery serves the Hamilton area of the Waikato region and promotes sharing and community with its tapa meals. They have meat dishes, vegetarian meals, a gluten-free and dairy-free menu, and vegan-friendly selections. There are currently three vegan menu options. One is the raglan coconut yogurt, spiced green lentil dahl, tomato kasundi, candied pumpkin seeds, and cumin seed papadom combination. Another is the kale and roast pumpkin salad drizzled with cider vinegar dressing and flavoured with miso, radish and confit garlic. Last on the choices is the Mapo tofu meal combined with silken tofu, Sichuan pepper sauce, charred greens, crispy shallots and peanuts.
