Pakuranga Golf Club
Pakuranga Golf Club used to be called Cascade Golf Company in 1969. That same year three local entrepreneurs arranged a lease agreement with a farm owner. The lease agreement aims to purchase the land and develop it into a world-class golf club like that popularized in the USA. An initial membership fee was charged to visitors during the first few years of operation. After being fully developed, the property was renamed Pakuranga Country Club. The following years saw continuous improvements in the design and layout of the golf course. Today, the golf course runs through the continuous support of local businesses within the Auckland region.
