“We’ve come here nearly every day during our stay in Tauranga, sampling quite a few lunches, dinner and dim sum dishes. Without exception, they were all authentic and very tasty. We’re from NYC, and Eastern Ocean would definitely be able to hold its own in New York’s Chinatown. That’s high praise, indeed. The service is great – the owner is exceptionally friendly, and seems to know all her regulars by name. We’ve tried a number of other Chinese restaurants in Tauranga, and this is definitely the place to come for an authentic Chinese dining experience.” –Aleksey Gring
