Tauranga Art Gallery offers exciting programs and experiences for everyone. Among them are art exhibitions, artist talks, art hunt, and art workshops that would surely awaken the inner artist in you. The art gallery was acquired by the Tauranga Art Gallery Trust (TAGT) in 1999. The building was formerly the home of the Bank of New Zealand. It was finally opened to the public by Prime Minister Helen Clark on October 20, 2007. Tauranga Art Gallery has two levels, 1,300 square meter floor space, and 700 square meters of exhibition space.

Yatton Park
Yatton Park can be found in Fraser Street Parkvale, Tauranga, New Zealand. The popular public park is frequented by locals and tourists who want to obtain a day of relaxation and respite from the stresses of work and life. Its planning phase commenced in 1954 after George Walsh, the current MP of Tauranga invited the Hon. E.B. Corbett to check out the land.
