Auckland Domain
Auckland Domain is the first public park in New Zealand and now considered to be one of the biggest in the country. It is set in a 75 hectares land surrounding the core of an already extinct volcano. The previous volcanic activity resulted in a natural contour of the area which is now used as its amphitheatre. The founding of the scenic spot was the idea of Governor Robert Fitzroy in 1843. He aimed to transform the remains of the Pukekawa volcano into something that the public can benefit from. SEA LIFE Kelly Tarlton’s Aquarium is a popular tourist spot in New Zealand fronting the Ōkahu Bay of Auckland city. It is near Mission Bay beach and home to more than 30 live animal exhibits. The exhibit features animals like the Sub-Antarctic King & Gentoo

“A wonderful experience. They have planned the layout really well, it’s roughly 5 sections and should take you a comfortable 2 hrs to complete. It’s roughly 3.5 km of walk, fairly straightforward flat road. If you prefer stopping and enjoying certain few animals or birds then account for at least 3 hrs.
