Horsham Downs Golf Club
Horsham Downs Golf Club was conceptualized by a circle of golfing lovers in May 1944. The group first opened the golfing venue in Aubrey Boyd’s farm in Henderson Road and today it stands proud at its scenic location on River Road presenting a majestic view of the Waikato River to visitors. In its initial years of operations, they catered to the farmers and their families. Soon, townspeople started playing at the golf club and the former 6-hole course was expanded to an 18-hole course.
